Online Art Store for Antonina Raikhel – A Digital Showcase of Original Paintings
Project Objective:
The main goal was to create a visually striking and functional web store that presents the artist’s work in the best possible light. The store needed to feel professional, be easy to navigate, and be fully optimized for sales and storytelling.
Overview:
This project involved building a fully functional e-commerce website for a professional painter to showcase and sell her artwork online. Beyond just web development, the work included end-to-end project management: from organizing a high-quality photo shoot of original paintings, to setting up the domain, server, and online store. The final result is a clean, user-friendly site that reflects the artist’s identity while making her work accessible to a wider audience.
Tools and Materials Used:
Photography was done using a Sony Alpha 7 and iPhone 16 Pro.
Post-production edits were made with Adobe Photoshop.
The website was built using the Fourthwall platform and hosted via Hostinger.
Copywriting support came from ChatGPT and Grok.

Project Steps:
1. Initial Planning & Concept
· Defined the goal: to create an online store for selling original paintings.
· Discussed the artist’s vision and the visual style for the website.
· Outlined project scope, timeline, and technical needs.
2. Studio Setup & Preparation
· Selected a space for the photoshoot and transformed it into a temporary photo studio.
· Arranged lighting, backdrops, and shooting equipment.
· Equipment used: Sony Alpha 7, iPhone 16 Pro, tripods, and lighting kits.
3. Photography Session
· Conducted a full-day photo shoot of all 13 paintings.
· Captured detailed, high-resolution images from multiple angles.
· Worked closely with the artist to ensure accurate visual representation of each piece.
4. Image Editing & Post-Production
· Edited all selected photos using Adobe Photoshop.
· Optimized images for both web and print-quality use.
· Standardized the look and lighting across all product images.
5. Web Store Development
· Chose Fourthwall as the web design platform and Hostinger for hosting.
· Set up the domain and configured the hosting environment.
· Designed a clean, intuitive interface tailored to highlight each painting.
6. Product Listing Creation
· Created individual product pages for each artwork.
· Uploaded photos and added detailed descriptions (title, dimensions, materials).
· Copywriting done with help from ChatGPT and Grok to ensure clarity and tone.
7. Testing & Optimization
· Reviewed the site on multiple devices and browsers.
· Tested navigation, purchase flow, and page speed.
· Made design and UX adjustments as needed.
8. Launch
· Final approval from the artist.
· Site went live and was shared with the artist’s audience.
· Provided a basic tutorial on managing the store and handling orders.
